Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about XIDRA agents, Stock Tokens, and self-custodial trading

Getting Started

What is XIDRA?

XIDRA is the agentic trading layer for Robinhood Chain. It gives you an AI agent that reads the market, turns your strategy into clear rules, and executes Stock Token trades 24/7 from your own wallet, only within the limits you set.

Is XIDRA live?

Not yet. XIDRA is in pre-launch. Join the waitlist on the homepage to get early access. Early users start in Paper Mode, which runs strategies against live markets without moving real funds.

What are Stock Tokens?

Stock Tokens are onchain tokens on Robinhood Chain that track the price of US stocks and ETFs. They trade around the clock and can be used across DeFi. They are issued by a third party, not by XIDRA, and provide economic exposure only, without the legal or voting rights of owning the underlying shares.

Who can use XIDRA?

Stock Tokens are not available to US persons and are restricted in several other jurisdictions. XIDRA follows the same eligibility rules and will limit features based on where you are located. Check the availability rules for your country before using Stock Tokens.

What do I need to get started?

A modern browser and a self-custodial wallet that supports Robinhood Chain. XIDRA never asks for your seed phrase or private key.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe a strategy in plain language, for example "buy NVDA if it drops 5% over the weekend, max $200", and XIDRA turns it into explicit rules you can review before anything runs.

Agents & Trading

What is a XIDRA agent?

An agent is a strategy that runs continuously on your behalf. It watches the Stock Tokens you choose, checks your rules against live market data, and proposes or executes trades when the conditions are met.

What is the difference between Copilot and Autopilot?

In Copilot Mode the agent proposes each trade with its reasoning, and you approve and sign it yourself. In Autopilot Mode the agent executes on its own, but only within the permissions you have signed: which assets, how much, on which venues, and for how long.

What is Paper Mode?

Paper Mode runs your agent against live market data with simulated funds. Use it to see how a strategy behaves, including on nights and weekends, before you allow it to trade real assets.

What guardrails can I set?

Budget and maximum position size per asset, a daily loss cap that pauses the agent, an allow-list of tickers and venues, and trading windows such as weekends only. You can pause an agent or revoke all of its permissions at any time.

Where are my trades executed?

On Robinhood Chain. XIDRA compares quotes across the venues that trade Stock Tokens, including RFQ venues where market makers compete on price and onchain AMMs, then routes your order to the best effective price after fees. The supported venue list will be published at launch.

Which markets does XIDRA support?

Stock Tokens on Robinhood Chain first. Support for other onchain markets, such as crypto and perpetuals, is on the roadmap.

Can an agent lose money?

Yes. Agents follow your rules, but markets can move against any strategy, and onchain execution carries risks such as slippage and venue outages. Guardrails limit how much an agent can risk, but they cannot guarantee profits. Only allocate what you can afford to lose.

Does XIDRA give investment advice?

No. XIDRA is a software tool that executes the strategy you define. It does not recommend what you should buy or sell, and it is not a broker or investment adviser.

Custody & Security

Does XIDRA hold my funds or keys?

No. Your assets stay in your own wallet or smart account. XIDRA never asks for your seed phrase or private key and never takes custody of funds.

How do agent permissions work?

In Autopilot Mode you sign a scoped permission for your smart account. It allows the agent to trade only specific assets, up to specific amounts, on specific venues, until a set expiry. Anything outside those limits is rejected onchain.

What happens if XIDRA's servers are compromised?

Because limits are enforced by your smart account rather than by XIDRA's servers, an attacker could do no more than the permissions you granted allow, and you can revoke them with a single transaction.

Are XIDRA's smart contracts audited?

All smart contracts will be reviewed by independent auditors before launch. Audit reports and a bug bounty program will be published alongside the launch.

What data do you collect?

Only what we need to run your agents: your email, your wallet address, the strategies and guardrails you configure, and agent activity logs. We never sell your data. Strategy track records are only shared publicly if you choose to publish them.

Plans & Credits

How will XIDRA be priced?

XIDRA uses Asks (credits). Chart reads, agent runtime, and executions consume credits based on their complexity. Final pricing will be published at launch.

Is there a free tier?

Yes. Early users will receive free credits, and Paper Mode is designed to be accessible to everyone on the waitlist.

Are there trading fees?

Onchain trades include network gas and any fees charged by the venue that fills your order. XIDRA's own usage is charged in credits. Every fee is shown before you approve a trade or grant a permission.

Is there a XIDRA token?

Not yet. XIDRA has not launched a token. Any token, sale, or airdrop claiming to be XIDRA's is not official unless it is announced on xidra.app.

For Wallets & Builders

Can I integrate XIDRA agents into my wallet or app?

Yes. The XIDRA Agents API will let wallets and apps offer agentic trading to their users without building the intelligence, routing, or risk layer themselves. Apply through the Become a Partner page to get early access.

Can I publish my own strategies?

A strategy marketplace is on the roadmap. Authors will be able to publish agent templates that other users run inside their own guardrails, with transparent onchain track records.

Is XIDRA affiliated with Robinhood?

No. XIDRA is an independent project built on Robinhood Chain. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Robinhood or any trading venue.

XIDRA is a software tool. It is not a broker, exchange, or investment adviser, does not hold user funds, and does not provide investment advice or trading recommendations. Agents act only on the strategies and permissions you configure, and you are solely responsible for them. Stock Tokens are issued by third parties, are not available to US persons, and are restricted in other jurisdictions. Automated trading involves substantial risk, including the loss of all capital allocated to an agent. Past performance, including Paper Mode results, does not guarantee future results. XIDRA is not affiliated with or endorsed by Robinhood.
